The Gourmet Burger Shop in Gig Harbor

I don't think I'll be going back, but I will give credit where credit is due. The burger looked and tasted good, freshly made, and the same could be said about the mixed greens on the burger. The negatives though, it oozed grease, the bottom of my burger was soaked once I got home (a couple minutes away), and the shoe string fries were stone cold when I opened the box at home (again only a couple minutes away). Though they made for a poor side of potato chips, they were well seasoned, so that's something I guess.

The strawberry milkshake was great, would recommend for people who enjoy hearty burgers and onion rings, the fries were okay. The service was fast considering the amount of people were within the establishment.

The clam chowder was so delicious. The burger was terrific. One of the best burger I had. My son also love his meal.

Ammmaaaaaaaaaaaazing food!!!!!!!! And such a super cool atmosphere!! They make you feel right at home when you step through that door! Plus, all the craft sodas and beers you can think of!!

I stopped in here for the first time over the weekend and omg the food is AMAZING. Had a gorgonzola and avacodo burger and a pineapple milkshake. It was so worth it and I will drive out there to get more for sure and soon. And u HAVE TO get the onion rings. MOUTH WATERING

Great burgers! Came out fast considering how many people had just ordered and walked in but prepare for a slight wait so everyone receives great service. I had mine in a lettuce wrap and it was well out together. Must stop burger shop

Wow great burgers but there fries are killer tasting, this place is in the Gig Harbor area of the docks. And they are Covid-19 followers, 5 stars on that too but their fries, I must go back

Great burger, friendly place. The onion rings are amazing. When you walk in they greet you and take order, then bring it to table. No traditional wait staff here, still done very well and quickly.

A hidden gem in Gig Harbor! You'll drive by this "house" a bunch of times before it catches your eye. GREAT burgers, good see drink selection, nice staff, decent prices.

Just had a blue cheese avocado bacon burger and fries and it was undoubtedly the best burger I've ever had in my life. I'm sort of a bacon blue burger enthusiast, it's always the first thing I ask for anywhere I'm eating lunch. I can't stress this enough, it was perfect! Can I give 10 stars?

By far one of the best burgers I have had! I had the gargonzola/avacado and it was amazing. The potatoe salad was delicious too. Anytime im in Gig Harbor I'll be stopping in.

Wound up here by chance and was very lucky. I had their gorgonzola avocado burger and it was probably the most flavorful burger I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and and a balanced assembly of flavors. I also had their onion rings which had a light and crispy coating that melted in the mouth. The business is small and neatly kept, clean and trim. I will be back to try some of, if not all of their other burgers. Be aware this not a fast food joint and the prices for burgers are between 10-12 dollars and sides are extra.

They have so many delicious options for burgers, a vegetarian option the potato burger, and lots of side options. Some include (beet chips, potato salad, cesar salad, shoestring fries). They also make milkshakes with traditional flavors as well as some unusual flavors. Avocado, chai tea, chocolate banana, 21+ flavors are some fun ones. There is seating inside and outside.

Cool little burger stop, perfect for that hungry feeling after all the fun in the sun and water around Gig Harbor. It's got interesting takes on gourmet burgers, shakes and beers. Good for groups, though it's small so it can get packed quickly. A few outdoor tables are available. Free parking in lot, with more street parking in the area. It's a great place to walk so parking a little further shouldn't be a problem. Fast friendly service. Moderately priced.

See video I posted for more! RAW bacon. Don’t go, burger place isn’t that good. Thrown together. Also when I went I slipped and fell outside, when I told the owner she there isn’t anything we can do to sue them. Couldn’t even offer ice for my pain. Ridiculous

Fell in love I found this place on the map took my boyfriend ans he is so picky when it comes to food and this place he told me it has the best onion rings he has ever tasted and the sauteed mushrooms were something else. The people there are really awesome and I will definitely go back.

Small place. Food is delicious. They do NOT give you much meat on the burger (which is kinda the point?) Definitely worth the experience, but a one-and-done spot.

The food and location was really good. The poor guy at the front needed more help though. He was alone dealing with walk in and phone orders, getting the food out, making shakes. He did his best and with a really good attitude, but he needed some help to make the customer service better. Our order got messed up, but I really think it was because the front was understaffed. I would go back 'cause he was trying so hard, the food was good and the location fun. Hopefully the understaffing was just an off day

Fantastic little restaurant serving up delicious food disguised as burgers. Fantastic homemade soups, and other unique sides including the pictured bacon wrapped bbq prawns! Yum!

May 2019.Lunch after a Bicycle Ride . My Favorite Cheeseburger place. There Specials are really good. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and shoestring French fries with a side of Ranch & A Coke. My cousin had the teriyaki burger. Both Burgers were cooked medium done👍. The shoestring fries were served hot and with good seasoning. The place has seating Inside, help yourself to water. The Milk shakes are Good here. The soups are Always good. Parking is a premium so pay attention Where you park.

Fantastic burgers. Get the string fries with fry sauce. Milkshake are delicious too. Good selection of local beers on tap. I had the bacon cheddar burger.

The best onion rings I've had in a long time. Light, crispy, really satisfying crunch, juicy onion in the middle. You definitely must try them. The table agreed they were superior to the shoestring fries. Got the Swiss/mushroom burger which also was rather enjoyable. They're selection of beer and sodas is exceptional, and overall it's a really cute place to go when you need a burger fix.

Went to the Gourmet Burger Shop on a Saturday afternoon with the family while checking out some homes in Gig Harbor. The restaurant is small so expect a wait, but it will be worth the wait! The restaurant offers a variety of burgers and sides, we stuck to he basically for the burgers but we each tried a different side (truffle fries, blue cheese covered potato salad, onion rings, etc.) and all the sides were good. We will go back for burgers again when we are in Gig Habor.

When they say gourmet, they mean gourmet. Not a typical cheap burger that small shops usually have. The food here is superb.

Rosemary will overpower your food and invade your thoughts after eating here. Expensive an don't try the shakes! Limited selection of drinks, no menus for shakes or drinks where you can read them without glasses and bending over sideways looking through a window. Prep time on three burgers 2 shakes an a beer at 3pm on a sunday 40 min almost a dollar a minute wait time 57.00$ an they also wanted the tip before we get served.😳😂😂😂glad I do tip well in 💸 when the service an food warrants. It didn't!

Everything was delicious! I had a bananas fosters milkshake. Gorgonzola, mushroom, and avocado burger. The shoe string fries were seasoned just right. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Wow. We stopped when it was dark, the outside didn't look like much. We walked in, they only have 6 tables. Little small. But don't let it fool you. The burgers are phenomenal. I got the bacon cheddar, wife got the all American, kids got a hot dog and a grilled cheese sandwich. I took bites out of all of them. It was worth the hour drive to get here. This place is a must for all Burger lovers. The selection of old school or the wall drinks are pretty awesome. This place just became a family favorite.

Food is excellent, but the restaurant it's self need a deep clean and some touch-up here and there. As some who are a restaurant and night club for many years. I know the importance of have everything clean and not looking like you don't care. But over all very good experience and food was well done.

Amazing Burgers!! It takes real skill to create burgers that good. Fun atmosphere, super friendly service. My go to place for an awesome lunch in Gig Harbor from now on.
